Streets in Berlin...

Something I like in Berlin is the posts with the names of the streets. Very often they have an extra space with a couple of lines on the life of the person the street is named after.

What I don´t like that much is how houses are numbered. In many cases numbers start in one end of the street and increase only on one side, all the way to the end and then back on the other side. That means that if there are 100 numbers, number 1 and number 100 will be opposite each other at one end of the street. I always found it easier to have odd numbers on one side and even numbers on the other. But obviously things are the way they are...

Pregunto: ¿En esa calle vivió Herman Heese?

"Yo voy, lobo estepario, trotando
por el mundo de nieve cubierto;

en el mundo no hay nafa tan lindo y hermoso;
