I´m really happy to announce that the Serenity series already has comitted dates for an exhibition!. As mentioned a couple of times, I was by no means in a hurry to have this done. In fact, by next Summer the series will have been over seven years in the making, although most of the time I was not even aware of it myself. But I thought it was about time to print some of these lovely photos. If nothing else, it will be a good excuse to take some more photos between now and next Summer. The dates are from July 7th to August 16th, same place as before here in Berlin.

Äpfel
This one is for SW. You don´t need a lot to take a shot, although admittedly you need quite a few apples for this one.

Pensamientos

For one reason or another, these flowers are called Stiefmütterchens en German (meaning "step-mothers") and pensamientos in Spanish (meaning "thoughts"). What I know though is that they look great in our balcony.

LLuvia
It started raining after lunch and, for a few minutes, there was also some sun. Good moment to take a few shots of the flowers my wife has been planting lately in the balcony.

Ostereier
Today´s plan included coloured boiled eggs for breakfast, looking for chocolate eggs and having painted eggs on a bushy type of plant which is traditional (here) over the Easter holiday. This is all great news for the smaller ones, and, needless to say, happy children, happy parents.
The photo below is how to colour boiled eggs and an example of egg painting. Note the white background, it is snow!

Huchas
Anybody has a moneybox? My daughter already has three (not that they are full) and they keep each other company.

Heiliger Abend
I recently saw a request in a photoblog for typical scenes for this season. The best about Xmas is being able to get together with the family, and traditionally this means all on the same table having lunch or dinner. So I guess this photo is something many people can relate to, independently of their beliefs.

This post is actually a photo meme. I noticed loads of people talk about books and I thought it would be good to see their shelves. So anybody interested, please leave a link to a photo of your shelf and, if possible, a short description that what´s there to be seen.
Open to anybody who gets here and wants to share a photo, but please do not clean, reallocate or add books which are not usually there just for the sake of taking the photo.
To start with, I used a photo of mine to make the backs of the folders I bought the day I took the photos of the empty shopping mall. Many books to learn languages (Spanish, English, German and French at the last count). Comics of Asterix in three languages and, as can be seen, no literature...

This one is also quite functional, some technical books, most of the Harry Potter series. Loads of dictionaries and, finally, some abridge reading for starters, classical music CD´s, and Terry Pratchet with Arturo Pérez- Reverte.
What actually cannot be seen is my collection of old Asimov´s books.
