Si no recuerdo mal, el hall de entrada se quemó cuando los rusos cedieron el control del aeropuerto después de la segunda guerra mundial. La solución adoptada fue hacer un suelo provisional (acortando muchísimo la altura del hall) y usar el revestimiento de piedra para otras partes del edificio. Y hasta ahora...If I remember right, the entrance hall burnt after the russiansgave control of the airport to the americans after WWII. Now there is a dividing floor which massively reduces the height of the hall and the stones have been used as a quarry for other places in the airport.
